Sock Tube Cranking Service
This listing is for a service of an unfinished sock tube, NOT a completed pair of socks.
Love handknit socks but don't want to knit them? Need a quick gift? This Sock Tube Cranking Service is for you!
You give us your sock weight yarns and we will give you back a beautiful sock tube.
Then you can finish your socks by adding in afterthought heels, toes and cuffs.
It’s a perfect solution to hand knitting socks fast and working through that sock yarn stash of yours!

How This Works:
Purchase from FRF or drop off your sock yarn to crank! Fingering or sock weight only. Must be Plied yarn, no single ply.
When we receive your yarn, we crank it into a lovely tube (with waste yarn at both ends to keep the live stitches from unraveling)
This will usually take about one week.
**Please make sure your phone number is in your profile so we can call or text you when your tube is done and ready for pick up!**
The sock tubes are 56 stitches around.

- We can only work with fingering weight yarns.
- This listing is for a single skein of yarn into a tube. If you would like multiple skeins cranked, please adjust the quantity in your cart.
- You might want to purchase minis for the heels and toes.

Shipping & Returns
We process orders for shipping Monday, Wednesday and Friday and they
will ship within 1-2 days of being placed. Most orders will ship USPS
unless expedited shipping is paid for at time of order. International
orders will ship via DHL. Standard USPS shipping is free on domestic
orders over $75, expedited shipping may be purchased at checkout.
International shipping calculated at checkout.
In-store pick-up orders should be ready for pick-up the day the store
is open after you place it. You will receive a confirmation email when
it has shipped or is ready for pickup. If you wish to pick-up an order
in store sooner, please call the store.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at the email below and we will be happy to take care of it for you.
Items may be returned for in-store credit or exchange. Returns must
be in original condition as sold - unused with all labels and packaging
intact and undamaged. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by
since your purchase, we unfortunately can’t offer you an in-store credit
or exchange – it’s yours, enjoy! Orders shipped internationally cannot
be returned. Books, patterns, needles, notions, kits, sale items,
discontinued items and wound yarn are not returnable.
